      • I just saw it, and I thought both Jackson and DiCaprio did wonderful work. The last few performances I’ve seen from both of them were pretty one-note (Jackson glowering and DiCaprio moping). It’s great to be reminded of what they’re both capable of.

        Oh, and I agree with Nick Powell also — I saw each half of Kill Bill three times (in theaters).

  1. I agree with you that you need multiple viewings. I loved Basterds at first, sure, but loved it even more upon extra viewings. I now have seen Django twice in theaters and it’s easily solidified itself as one of my fav Tarantino’s. May go back for a third viewing! Good review!
